Introduction of speaker:
Dr.Changqi C. Zhuearned his B.Sci in Shaanxi Normal University in 1988, M.Sciin Northwest A& F University in 1991, and Ph.D. in University of Karlsruhe (Germany) in 1998. He had worked as postdoc in Department of Genetics, St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital and Department of Genetics, Cell Biology & Development, University of Minnesota, USA during 1998-2002, and 2002-2009, respectively. He was assistant professor in Ferris State University during 2009-2012.  Currently, he acts as associate professor in Department of Biological Sciences,Ferris State University.
His research interests focus onactivin signaling-regulated aging process in adult fruit flies. Up to now, he has published more than 10 SCI papers in the famous journals such as Development, Cell Metabolism, PLOS genetics, Cellular and Molecular Biology.
