Associate Professor Zhang Hong

1. Basic Information
Zhang Hong, born in Lujiang County, Anhui Province in September, 1968, is an associate professor as well as an instructor of master students. She has been assigned to work in Northwest A&F University since she graduated from Department of Education, Beijing Normal University. She was selected for youth academic backbone support program in 2006. From 2008 to 2009, she went to North Carolina State University (UNCP) in the US as a visiting scholar.

3. Courses
Associate Professor Zhang has long been committed to the teaching and research of rural sociology and sociology of education. She undertakes the course of Rural Sociology for undergraduate students, and she is responsible for the teaching of rural sociology research, sociology of education projects, youth social work topics, etc. for postgraduate students.
At present, she has supervised thirty-four academic and professional master graduate students with master’s degree, having another twenty postgraduate students under his supervision.
4. Academic Achievements
In research, she has hosted fourteen provincial and campus research projects. National Social Science Fund Project——Village Change Research in the Process of Agricultural Modernization. the Shanxi's Soft-scientific——Research on Agricultural Technology to Rural Social Change, Research on Reflow Characteristics of Human Resources and Development in Rural Shaanxi Province. Key Research Topic of Chinese Association of Higher Education Science Eleventh Five-Year Plan——Empirical Study of Higher Education to Society and Individual in the Transformation Period, etc. She has participated in five national and provincial scientific research subjects.
In research papers, she has published more than sixty academic papers in national Chinese core journal, such as Changes in a Traditional Village, The Impact of Migrant Workers to the Concept of Rural Education, of which fourteen were included by CSSCI, two by first grade journals.
In works and textbooks, she has written Research on Village Change during Agricultural Modernization Process independently, edited Exploration of Comprehensive Innovative Practice Teaching Model in Sociology, and subedited Rural Sociology, involved in editing three textbooks.
