During August 17th– 19th,the 6th Meeting of Genomics and Molecular Breeding of Wheat was held in Yang Ling. NWAFU’s State Key Laboratory of Crop Stress Biology for Arid Areas and College of Agriculture co-organized the meeting.

At the meeting, Professor Sun Qixin made a report themed "Genetic improvement of wheat’s heat tolerance against the background of climate change”. Professor Jorge Dubcovsky from University of California, National young talent researcher Zhong Kan, Changjiang scholar Professor Kang Zhensheng, and other 23 experts made keynote speeches regarding wheat genomics and new gene discovery.
