To promote the industrial development of Yanchuan County and help the old revolutionary areasalleviate poverty, NWAFU signed the cooperation agreement with Yanchuan County to co-establish Liang Jiahe Modern Fruit Sci-tech Demonstration Base on November 22nd. On behalf of the university, vice president Qian Yonghua signed the agreement with county chief Song Manhong.

According to the agreement, the base will be co-established by Yanchuan People’s Government and NWAFU New Rural Development Research Institute. The target of the base is to develop the modern fruit industry, the leisure experiential agriculture, and the combination of agriculture and tourism. By developing fruit quality and brand image, the base aims to set an example to the local fruit industry and lead the regional agriculture, business, and cultural tourism to a healthy and fast sustainable development.
