NWAFU’s Root Monitoring System Included by Encyclopedia of Soil Science

Root Monitoring System and Crop Evapotranspiration: Measurement System, designed by Dryland Water Saving Team and Efficient Irrigation Team, were included in the Encyclopedia of Soil Science in January this year, which further expandsNWAFU’s international influence on agricultural water saving technology research. The design is through the cooperation of NWAFU’s Agricultural Research Institute of Water-saving in Arid Region and Prof. Rattan Lal at Ohio State University– who is also an internationally renowned soil scientist and the chief editor of Encyclopedia of Soil Science. The cooperation is supported by the Discipline Innovative Engineering Plan.
