Opening Ceremony of 2016 NWAFU Sports Meet
 

Li Xingwang, Sun Qixin and all members of Sports Meet Committee present
 

Li Xingwang, Secretary of the Party Committee announced the opening of the Sports Meet.
 

Xu Yangfu, vice secretary of the Party Committee, gave the opening speech. Ren Yingkun, vice secretary of the Party Committee, hosted the ceremony.
 

Wang Limin, representative of judges and Liu Binglian, representative of athletes swore； Gao Yuan, representative of international students， gave a speech at the opening ceremony. 
 

Wonderful group calisthenics performance

On April 21st, 2016 NWAFU Sports Meet officially opened at the Stadium in North Campus.Li Xingwang, Secretary of the Party Committee announced the opening of the Sports Meet. President Sun Qixin and all members of the Sports Meet Committee attended the opening.
The opening ceremony boasted lots of highlights. Over a thousand students participated in various wonderful performances. The long dragon danced across the field and the performances of lion dance team and dragon dance teams are quite inspiring. Group calisthenics performance perfectly demonstrates NWAFUers’ confidence, persistence and enthusiasm. The shape dance Blossom, filled with vibrant and youthful spirit, fully displayed NWAFUers’spirits of taking responsible and forging ahead.
After the opening ceremony, the 2-day Sports Meet officially opened. 70 student teams and 30 faculty teams will compete in 16 and 12 sports events respectively. In addition, there will be 12 fun events for students and 8 for teachers and staff.
