　　Wang Zhonghua, Ph.D., Professor, winner of National Natural Science Award, winner of national 100 excellent doctoral theses, professor of Shaanxi Sanqin scholar project. The main research area is crop molecular biology and molecular breeding. The research projects mainly focus on the mining and cloning the related genes controlling the　important agronomic traits in wheat, rice, sunflower, sesame etc.. The research　projects are supported by the National Natural Science Foundation, Science &　technology innovation team project of Shaanxi, international cooperation projects.
　　More than 90 papers has been published in Plant Cell, Plant Physiology, Plant Journal, JXB, JBC, PCP, PLoS ONE etc.. Won the first prize of provincial science and　technology award, won the first prize of Dabeinong Science and Technology　Innovation Award. Won the Second Prize of the National Natural Science Award.
