On June 22, the final of the 7th NWAFU College Students’ “Internet+” Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition was held in the South Hall of Xiushan Activity Centre, North Campus. The competition invited 7 experts from our university and fellow colleges as judges. After the preliminary and semi-final selecting for outstanding project proposals, the final was conducted in the form of project demonstration and oral defence, with 8 gold prizes, 12 silver prizes and 16 bronze prizes awarded.
On the theme of “Dare to Venture and Innovate”, the competition received over 530 pieces of works after its launch in April. According to their type, the works were classified into two categories, namely the main group and the group of “Youths’ Journey to the Red Dream”. With the application of state-of-the-art technologies, products and models, the former aimed at promoting industrial transformation as well as the deep integration of new technologies and various industries, involving projects in modern agriculture, manufacturing, information technology, cultural creativity and social services. Differently, the latter centred on the centenary of CPC and specialised in innovative, updated and sustainable projects that enhance the economic and social development of old revolutionary base areas, poverty-stricken areas and urban and rural communities with the organic combination of education on the history of revolution, professional education, and innovation and entrepreneurship education.
