NWAFU Study Tour Group Arrived in University of Adelaide, Australia

On January 24th, the NWAFU study tour group arrived in University of Adelaide, Australia. The group members, 26 students of Horticulture College, Enology College and Food Science and Engineering College will enjoy a four-week visiting study there.

On the next morning of the visitors’ arrival, the opening ceremony of the study tour program was held in English Language Centre of the host university, at which Mr. Jo Simpson, director of Career and Continue Education Center served as host. 

Then the visitors were divided into two mini-classes and went to the English Core Classes respectively conducted by Sotiria Bexis and Debra Laginestra. They were instructed to enrich their English language vocabulary and to do E-learning Journal research with the accessible online learning resources of the host university.  
In the following four weeks, the group are to learn about Australia culture, finish the core-course training and learn the viticulture, wine tasting, horticulture, biology, food science and environment science. They will also visit the chateaus, botanic garden and gardening firms to pick up the skills in identifying plant diseases and insect pests the jeopardizing grapevine and gardening plants. 

The training program will greatly broaden students’ international vision, improve their English language proficiency, raise their interest in learning and enrich their professional knowledge.
