On January 26th, Elsevier, the world-leading scientific information and service provider, published the 2015 Most Cited Chinese Researchers (MCCR) list. Tyree Melvin Thomas, Wang Shaojin and Kang Zhensheng from Northwest A&F University entered Elsevier 2015 MCCR list, and Northwest A&F University is listed as No.7 in Agricultural and Biological Sciences area.

Prof. Tyree Melvin Thomas starts to work for NWAFU since March 2012, and he has been selected as the distinguished professor of Thousand Talents Program. Around 200 of his papers have been published on Nature, Plant Cell, and other internationally famous journals. Prof. Wang Shaojin is selected in the second Hundred Talents Program of Shaanxi Province and is later fully employed by NWAFU. He has published over 140 SCI papers. Prof. Kang Zhensheng is the distinguished professor of Changjiang Scholar Program, New Century Talents Project finalist and Shaanxi Three-Five Talents Project Finalist. He has published over 180 papers home and abroad.
