April is a beautiful season in which trees are budding as flowers blooming. NWAFU campus in April is even more than an oil painting of vigorous nature where the peony garden is demonstrating its elegance to the world. To love the nature, to find the charm of nature, to present the beauty and to create the glamour are key elements of NWAFU aesthetic culture. The opening of NWAFU Peony Festival on April 12th is a practice of our aesthetic culture. 

Mr. Lv Weidong is awarding letter of appointment to Professor Xiao Huan

At the festival, Professor Xiao Huan was appointed to be visiting professor of NWAFU Horticultural College. He said he felt honored being invited and appointed. He would spare no effort to play his role in carrying forward Chinese traditional arts and strongly support the discipline construction and the development of Horticulture College. Professor Xiao, along with other Chinese painting and calligraphy amateurs from NWAFU Senile University demonstrated the exquisite Chinese painting on spot. Their skills and artistry were marveled and greatly admired by the audience there. 
This grand event is hosted by NWAFU Propaganda Department, Youth League Committee and College of Landscape Architecture and Arts, consists of two activities---peony painting in Chinese traditional style exchange meeting and peony photography competition. And the latter one themed Snap the Elegance of NWAFU is scheduled to open on April 12th to 30th.
