On May 12th ,the donation ceremony for the authentic calligraphy of Yu Youren was held in the Yu Youren Memorial at NWAFU. Executive Vice President of the university, Zhao Zhong,along with related school departments and Youren College as well as Yangling Calligraphy and painting circle( approximately a hundred teacher and student representatives) attended the ceremony.

At the ceremony, Curator of Yu Youren Memorial, Prof.Chen Yuchun, on behalf of NWAFU, received from Mr.Yu Ziqiao the donation of Yu Youren’s calligraphy. Being a professor emeritus of political science of University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign and the dean of Youren College in NWAFU, Mr.Yu Ziqiao is also the grandson of Mr. Yu Youren, one of the founders of National Northwest Senior College of Agriculture and Forestry( original name of NWAFU).
