A new round of welfare for NWAFU students arrived in the early summer days with sweet melon fragrance: During lunch time on 13th of June, more than 30 thousand jin(15 tons) of the new variety watermelon and melon, selected and bred by NWAFU experts, were offered at 11 canteens both inside and outside of the university at the same time. All the students, including those carrying out comprehensive practice at the Experimental Forest Farm in the Qingling Mountains of south Shaanxi, tasted teachers’ scientific research achievements freely before and after lunch, same as before when enjoying “NWAFU 979”steamed bread and small apple of NWAFU.
