Thoughts on Overseas Visit- One
It was then Monday, the beginning of second week’s visit.
Classes on August 1sttoday arewell worth mentioning. Starting from the second week according to the schedule, the focus of courses transferred from language targeted and Australia profile to academic courses. The first class, taught by a senior student, was about insects. It was closely related to plant protection, and more likely a dissemination of basic scientific knowledge tome. It covered subjects that Ihave not learned before, for example, the classification of insects--- Kingdom, Phylum, Class, Order, Family, Genus, Species, and the definition of "pests”. On the whole, my attitude towards insects, especially "pests”, has been changed by what I have learned in class.

Thoughts on Overseas Visit- Two
Learning and Communicating at the Sheep Range
The activities were as rich as the abundant food we had. On Wednesday morning, led by teachers from Murdoch University (Muresk), we visited the entire campus. We are lucky enough to understand what the life of the aboriginals is like. In the afternoon and the following day, we were separated into two groups to have a field study in pastures and farmlands with exchange of the trip on Thursday morning. There are animals like sheep, cows, and horses, yet our focus is on the sheep. The teacher instructed us on how to herd and catch the sheep. Many of us had a try, yet few succeeded. After that, we watched sheep shearing and sty. I had to confess I was astounded by the sheep shearing. It was exactly that "no practice, no gain in one's wit.”
The following day witnessedour visit to the farmland where we saw the vibrant wheat and booming rape flowers. Only the Mediterranean Climate with a warm and wet winter could breed such vivifying species at the coldest season of a year. More and more appealing activities followed in the afternoon---lectures, tractor driving, and UVA(Unmanned Aerial Vehicle)operation. We were so motivated by the bountiful activities that many of us were still energetic and kept having fun even at late 8 o’clock.
Thoughts on Overseas Visit- Three
It was until then that I realized we had been here for two weeks. In the past week, memories of the three-day stayon the farm lingered over my mind. If you were tired ofthe hustle and bustleof city life, you must come and visit. A big breakfast in the morning and tea break time after one lecture are followed by a visit to the farm for appreciating the rape flowers. After lunch, we played with the sheep, horses, and cows. And after the afternoon tea, we had fun playing tractor as well as UAVs and getting together for dinner. It was quiet at night on the farm while the party in the Ping-Pang hall was boisterous, with sweat-pouringexercise in the gym and our laughters from werewolf games in the dorm. All comes to tranquil in sweet and beautiful dreams.
