2016 Virginia Tech Visiting Program Successfully Concluded

On August 6th, NWAFU’s first visiting program to Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University met its satisfactory ending. The program was led by the College of Forestry.

15 students from the College of Forestry, College of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering, and College of Life Science joined the program. They attended 10 academic reports regarding wood, mechanical and electrical engineering, and economy and trade, and visited 9 sites of wood processing, package testing, and other experimental bases.

The group also visited Biltmore, the largest private estate in the U.S. and Washington DC the capital center. The visits deepened their understanding of American history, architecture, and science and technology.
