From September 3rd to September 4th, fourteen teams from NWAFU entered Shaanxi quarter-final of the second ‘Internet plus’ College Students' Innovative Entrepreneurship Competition and obtained four gold awards, six silver awards, and four bronze awards, ranking the third in the gold medal gold award tally.

The project ‘Nanoemulsion Contributing to the Health Industry’ led by Yang Long, who is a 2015 postgraduate student from the College of Veterinary Medicine, won the third place of the contest. The project ‘Eternal Rose’, led by Ma Chongwen, a 2013 undergraduate student from the College of Science, won the individual award for being the most employment-promoted project. NWAFU was issued with the Outstanding Organization Award.
