The 6th Overseas Chinese Innovation and Entrepreneurship Achievement Exchange and Union Founding Conference was held in Beijing recently. Pro. Zhao Shanting, vice-chairman of NWAFU Overseas Chinese Federation and distinguished expert of College of Veterinary Medicine, was awarded with ‘The Chinese Nation Contribution Award’ for his research result ‘Fundamental Research of Neurobiology and Its Application in Livestock and Poultry’s Healthy Breeding’. This was the first time an NWAFUer won such a prize.
