“Students must focus on curriculum learning and improve English proficiency as soon as possible.”On the afternoon of September 19th, NWAFU’s“3+1”Undergraduate Double Degree International Class of 2016 for Food Science and Engineering major opened. President Sun Qixin gave ardent encouragement to students at the opening ceremony.

Vice president Luo Jun hosted the opening ceremony , and heads of relevant departments along with Prof.Curtis Weller, Food Department Head of the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, and students of 2015 and 2016 from “3+1”international class attended the ceremony.

NWAFU’s first Undergraduate International Double Degree Class started last September. Students study at the university for the first three years and if qualified, they will go to University of Nebraska-Lincoln for the fourth year . They receive academic degrees from both Northwest A&F University and American university after graduation.This year, the Double Degree Class expanded its enrollment to ten provinces including Zhejiang province, an increase of 5 people compared with that of last year.
