During October 13th to 14th, a great event in the field of dairy goat—the World Dairy Goat Industry Conference & 2nd International Symposium of Dairy Goat Healthy Breeding and Goat Milk Processing Technology in China, co-hosted by Northwest A&F University and International Goat Association, was held in Longxian County, Shanxi Province, which is the capital of goat milk in China.

Mr.Qian Yonghua, vice president of NWAFU, delivered an opening address. Relevant leaders from Science and Technology Department of Shaanxi Province, Baoji City, Longxian County, both domestic dairy goat research experts and overseas experts from Spain, Australia, Holland, Russia, Malaysia, goat milk tycoons at home and abroad, heads of Industry Association including Dairy Association of China and China Diary Industry Association, as well as more than 1000 representatives of merchants got together joyously, discussing transformation and upgrading of China's dairy industry.

With the theme of “green, innovation, cooperation and win-win”, the conference aimed at further strengthening friendly exchanges between technology of Chinese dairy goat industry and that of developed countries, making Chinese dairy goat industry “a bright pearl in the New Silk Road Economic Belt”.
