On October 11th, vice provost and dean of Graduate School from University of California, Davis of USA, Mr.Prasant Mohapatra, assistant vice provost Mr.Ermias Kebreab and head of International(Asian)Affairs Ms.Liang Linxia visited Northwest A&F University.

During their visit, the delegation and NWAFU discussed about Joint Training Programs for students from both sides, young graduate supervisors as well as courses taught in English, and reached several preliminary intentions. Mr.Prasant Mohapatra gave an introduction of UC Davis and a report on studying abroad for NWAFU students, while Prof.Ermias Kebreab gave a professional lecture for faculty and students from College of Animal Science and Technology.

The delegation also visited NWAFU’s China-US Joint Food Safety Research Center and discussed about further scientific research cooperation.
