Four Overseas Universities Visited NWAFU

University of Adelaide

On October 18th, Mr.John Williams, vice president and dean of Graduate School and Ms.Iris Liu,director of International Affairs of President office, from University of Adelaide, visited Northwest A&F University. Vice president Luo Jun met the guests at international exchange center. He reviewed close cooperation between the two universities in the areas of wine and wheat breeding, expecting further cooperation in the advantageous fields such as animal science, veterinary medicine and water saving projects.


 

Auburn University

On October 21st, dean of Graduate School from Auburn University, Prof.George Flowers and assistant director from College of Agronomy as well as head of international programs, Prof.Henry Fadamiro visited NWAFU. During the visit, Prof.George Flowers gave a report on studying at Auburn University for NWAFU students, mainly introducing basic information of Auburn University and specialty setup as well as studying and living environment. He also answered questions concerning application, and interviewed NWAFU students who intend to study for doctoral degrees with China Scholarship Council scholarship.
 

Cornell University

On October 25th, vice president of College of Agriculture and Life Sciences from Cornell University, Mr.Max Pfeffer visited NWAFU. The visit brought a renewal of cooperation agreement and an additional signed agreement on strengthening academic exchanges and visits as well as joint research projects.

 



During his visit, Mr.Max Pfeffer gave a report on studying at Cornell University, mainly introducing basic information of Cornell University and “2+2 ”joint training, China Scholarship Council graduate programs.He also answered questions from students concerning program application requirements and processes.
 

Kyoto University

On October 25th,  Mr.Han Liyou, associate professor from Japan international Institute of Higher Education, Kyoto University,and Teng Juanxiu,from international class of Kyoto Prefecture as well as deputy secretary-general visited NWAFU. The two sides reached a preliminary consensus regarding scientific research projects cooperation, teacher and student communication, promoting six-day student scholarship application between governments in China and Japan.
