Recently, Dr.Roderick A. Drew, President of International Society for Horticultural Science(ISHS) inspected NWAFU’s kiwifruit experiment station in Meixian County, accompanied by Mr.Han Zhenhai, vice president of Chinese Society of Horticultural Science, with all the station experts and graduate students participating this activity.

Chief expert and researcher Mr.Liu Zhande introduced in detail the development of Kiwi fruit industry , farmers' income, cooperation between university and county, promotion of scientific and technological achievements, and accompanied the guests to visit demonstration zone of seedling breeding experiments, new variety exhibitions and standardized cultivation techniques. Roderick Drew gave high praises after tasting Qihong and Xiuzhenxiang kiwi fruit selected and bred by experiment station. Later he made a site visit to the demonstration base guided by experiment station.
