According to the latest data revealed by Thomson Reuters, NWAFU has added two new subjects – Chemistry and Biology & Biochemistry– to its top 1% ESI subjects. In the latest publishing, NWAFU has 72 ESI highly cited papers and 2 hot papers.
Regarding the two newly added subjects, NWAFU’s chemistry has in total published 953 papers with 6,075 citations; the average citation per paper is 6.37, ranking the 1,138th among the 1,159 top 1% institutions. Biology & Biochemistry has in total published 741 papers with 5,370 citations; the average citation per paper is 7.25, ranking the 927th among the 928 top 1% institutions.
So far NWAFU has 6 subjects entering the top 1% ESI, being Agricultural Science, Engineering Science, Environmental Science and Ecology, Chemistry and Biology & Biochemistry, among which four enter the top 1% this year and serve as a good beginning of NWAFU’s 13th Five Year Plan development.
