On 18th Dec, 2016 NWAFU Local Alumni Seminar was successfully held in Changsha. On the subject of “Gratitude, Sharing, Multi-winning”, the seminar embraced over 200 alumni representatives from 26 local alumni associations all over the country. President Sun Qixin, Deputy Secretary of NWAFU Party Committee and Educational Development Foundation President Zhao Zhong, Alumni Honorary Chairman and former President Sun Xuewu also attended the seminar. Participants shared their success and their feelings for the Alma Mater.
On behalf of Secretary Li Xingwang, President Sun Qixin extended the sincere greetings to the participants. He said that students are the foundation and the driving force of a university, and whether it is a student or an alumnus, they are always a part of the university. President Sun introduced the main progress and landmark achievement made ever since the 2ndNWAFU Local Alumni Seminar. From student recruitment, national talent plan, national technology prize, model-exploration of agricultural science and technology promotion, to Silk Road Agricultural Education Science and Technology Innovation Alliance and Double First-rate Development, every one of the accomplishment aroused applause among the audiences.

During the seminar, the alumni representatives also visited Shaoshan for red revolutionary education and showed their resolution of carrying forward the revolutionaryspirit and the university motto of “Sincerity, Simplicity, Bravery and Perseverance” at work.
