On March 6th, eight representatives from International Society for Horticultural Science, including the president Prof. Dr. Roderick Drew, the vice president Prof. Dr. Silvana Nicola and executive members, visited NWAFU.
Vice president Qian Yonghua received and welcomed the delegation. He gave an introduction to NWAFU’s history and scientific research characteristics, and apple and kiwi fruit industry development.

After the meeting, the delegation visited State Key Laboratory of Arid Region Stress biology, Horticultural Science Research Center, and Meixian County Kiwi Fruit Testing Station. The delegation members also did on-the-spot investigation of germplasm resource utilization.
