On March 5th, the 5th award ceremony of Tsinghua University-Inspur Computational Earth Science Young Talent Award, jointly established by Tsinghua University and Inspur Group Co., Ltd, was held in Tsinghua University. Associate professor Zhu Qiuan from College of Forestry ofNorthwest A&F University won the honor.

Since joining the ecological forecasting and global change research team led by Prof.Peng Changhui at the end of 2011, associate professor Zhu Qiuan has built coupling mechanism ecosystem model with the fusion of multiscale-multisources, on the basis of a dynamic global vegetation model, providing scientific basis for the country to address global climate change and tohave a say in international climate negotiations.
