After publishing Manganese scavenging and oxidative stress response mediated by type VI secretion system in Burkholderia thailandensis on PNAS and being recommended by Faculty of 1000 Prime, Prof. Shen Xihui’s team from the State Key Laboratory of Stress Biology for Arid Areas, NWAFU, recently published their latest research on Nature Communications.
The paper A Pseudomonas T6SS effector recruits PQS-containing outer membrane vesicles for iron acquisition was the collaboration between Prof. Shen Xihui’s team and Prof. Wei Gehong’s team from the state laboratory, Prof. Qian Peiyuan at Hong KongUniversity of Science and Technology, and Prof. Luo Zhaoqing’s lab from Purdue University.
Prof. Shen Xihui has been working on microorganism’s environmental adaptation mechanism for a long time. In the recent five years, he has published over forty SCI papers on Nature Communications (IF=11.329), PNAS (IF=9.423), PLoS Pathogens (IF=7.003), Antioxidants & Redox Signaling (IF=7.093), mBio (IF=6.975), Environmental Microbiology (IF=5.932) as the corresponding author; his team’s research results have received extensive attention from the academia.
This research is funded by Natural Science Foundation of China (31670053) and NWAFU Young Talent Cultivation Plan (2452015100).
