On the morning of May 22nd, Shaanxi Provincial Science and Technology Award Conference was held in Shaanxi City Hall. Northwest A&F University, as the first completion unit, won a total of 13 achievements, among which 4 won the first prize, 5 won the second prize, and 4 won the third prize.

This time a total of 38 scientific and technological achievements won the first prize, 111 scientific and technological achievements won the second prize, 102 scientific and technological achievements won the third prize in the whole province. Provincial Party Secretary Hu Heping attended the opening ceremony and awarded the Major Contribution Award for Basic Research of 2017 in Shaanxi Province. Governor Liu Guozhong made an important speech. Deputy Governor Lu Zhiyuan presided over the meeting and read out the Provincial Government's commendation decision.
