On the afternoon of May 15th, the donation ceremony of the United States Hu’s Charity Education Scholarship was held in the conference room of College of Economics and Management. Ms.Wang Xiaoming, Executive Vice President of the United States Hu’s Charity Education Foundation, Mr.Hao Hongxian, Executive Director, Ms.Wan Taojie, a volunteer, and Luo Jun, Vice President of NWAFU, attended the donation ceremony.

　　Ms.Wang Xiaoming and Secretary-General of Education Development Foundation Wu Wanxing signed a donation implementation agreement. According to the implementation agreement, the United States Hu’s Charity Education Foundation will donate 150,000 yuan per year from 2018 to NWAFU undergraduates with economic difficulties and good academic performance. Wang Xiaoming stated that the Northwest A&F University has a long history of education and has trained a large number of talents in the field of agricultural science and technology for the country and society. The United States Hu’s Charity Education Foundation is concerned with the education in western China, hoping to cultivate outstanding talents and support the development of education through funding.

　　The Hu’s Charity Education Foundation has donated five consecutive years since 2013, and has set up "the US Hu's Charity Education Scholarship” in College of Economics and Management. A total of more than 500,000 yuan has been donated and 170 students have received funding. Earlier, the person in charge of the Education Development Foundation paid a special visit to the United States and visited Hu Yujinming, Chairman of the Hu’s Charity Education Foundation. Ms. Hu Yujinming, who is deeply impressed by the education in western China, expressed the wish to continuously support talent training and has generously increased annual donation.
