On September 26th, the Third Shaanxi Privince Silk Road Forum of Young Scholars hosted by Organization Department of Shaanxi Provincial CPC Committee, Shaanxi Provincial Department of Human Resources and Social Security, sponsored by NWAFU, kicked off in Xi’an. Over 1,500 scholars of home and abroad come together to communicate over issues of construciton and development of Silk Road Economic Belt, the development of Shaanxi province in hub economy, portal economy and mobile economy. Hu Heping, Shaanxi Provincial Party Secretary, Zhang Guangzhi, Member of Standing Committee of Shaanxi Provincial Committee and Minister of Organizaiton Department of Shaanxi Province, Qian Yinan, Member of Standing Committee of and Secretary-genral of Shaanxi Provincial Committee, Hu Minglang, Vice-Governor of Shaanxi Procvince, Li Xingwang, Party Secretary of NWAFU, and Wu Pute, President of NWAFU attended the opening ceremony.

The forum has been already held two times since 2016. 581 scholars have signed work agreements with relevant units, and 210 people have come to work in Shaanxi and have joined the innovative practices in the fields of new energy and new materials, information and communication technology, artificial intelligence, finance, network security, modern agriculture, environmental engineering and etc. The forum has now become a featured brand in Shaanxi to attract and accumulate elites.
