On January 4th, the 2018 "Belt and Road” Ministry (provincial and state) Round Table Conference on Agricultural Cooperation hosted by Shaanxi Provincial Government and the International Eurasian Academy of Sciences was held in NWAFU. Officials, experts, scholars from China, Canada, Egypt, Belarus, Pakistan, Cambodia and other countries, as well as representatives from international organizations such as the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations and the United Nations Industrial Development Organization attended the meeting. The participants exchanged the ideas of "Science and Technology Innovation Promoting the Agricultural Cooperation and Sustainable Development”. The"Yangling Cooperation Declaration" was adopted, and many consensuses were reached and positive results were achieved.

The conference was hosted by the Preparatory Committee of China Agricultural Fair in Yangling, the China Science Center of the International Eurasian Academy of Sciences, Northwest Agriculture and Forestry University and Beijing International Science and Technology Service Center. It was also held for the first time in NWAFU.
