Recently, the Shaanxi Provincial Committee Organization Department of the Communist Party of China, the Shaanxi Provincial Human Resources and Social Security Office and the Shaanxi Provincial Science and Technology Association jointly issued the commendation decision for the 12th Shaanxi Youth Science and Technology Award.NWAFU Professor Wu Jiangwei, Professor Li Zhi and Professor Liu Huiquan won the award.Professor Wu Jiangwei also won the honorary title of "Shaanxi Youth Science and Technology Model”.

Shaanxi Youth Science and Technology Award was established in 1994 and is selected once every two years.The aim is to vigorously implement the strategy of rejuvenating Shaanxi through science and education and strengthening province by talents, and commend young science and technology talents who have made outstanding achievements in the economic development, social progress and technological innovation of our province and the country, and encourage young scientists and technicians to do practical things andbe in the forefront in innovation-driven development and strive to write a new chapter of pursuingand surpassing.
