Recently, the new form of national planning textbook "Organic Chemistry Experiment” (third edition), led by Professor Wang Junru of NWAFU, with 20 teachers from 7 universities in China participating in the compilation, was published in Higher Education Press.

The compilation of this book closely combines agricultural biology, highlights the concept of innovative talent training, and strives to form its own characteristics of chemical experiment teaching in agricultural and forestry colleges and universities. At the same time, it strengthens the content and practicability of large-scale instrument analysis and testing, improves the frequency of use of lower-grade students, and promotes the cultivation of basic scientific quality and ability of low-grade students from a high starting point.

The new textbook consists of five modular experimental contents, comprehensive exercises and appendices. According to the development needs of students and the opinions of the editorial committee representatives, individual items that deviate from the requirements of the times were deleted, some methods and techniques were updated, six items related to innovation and entrepreneurship were added, and the order of experimental items was rationally adjusted. In addition, provided with the book, there are 14 two-dimensional codes for experimental operation of micro-video resources. Students can directly grasp the experimental operation skills through scanning and watching,reflecting the new form of textbook construction.
