  Themed by “human and nature coexist harmoniously, working hand in hand for a beautiful China”, the opening ceremony of 2020 National Science and Technology Week of Forestry and Grassland was recently launched in National Forestry and Grassland Administration. At the launch, the winner list of 2020 National Forestry and Grassland Science Popularization Competition was released.Pleasingly, Zhang Yan and Li Na as museum guides from University Museum Garden of NWAFU won the first prize and the honorable mention. 

  The competition was conducted online, participants uploading their explanation videos.Evaluated by the expert judges of the sponsor, Zhang Yan and Li Nawere highly recognized with their impressive entries, i.e., The Magical Fire Protection Tree: Schima Superba, Protect Forest Resources and Value Lucid Waters and Lush Mountains. Their explanations were completely stimulating yet scientific, thus winning the first prize and the honorable mention respectively. To his credit, Zhang Yan is going to compete for the final prize on behalf of National Forestry and Grassland Administration.

  After years of development, University Museum Garden of NWAFU has cultivated four groups of docents, namely full-time docents, professionals and professors, part-time undergraduates as well as teenager docents. Apart from serving for the teaching and research of NWAFU, they are also responsible for promoting science popularization by giving full play to their advantages.
